Angela Clarke first visited Brantôme in early 2008, and spent much of that year returning to the area to complete her first novel.  She is part French and speaks both English and French fluently.  She is based in London, where she consults on business and marketing through her company Lumiere Associates but also spends part of the year in France, writing fiction and non-fiction books.   www.lumiereassociates.com

Didier Bouillet owns a shop in Brantôme ‘L’Arbre du Voyageur’. Originally from New Caledonia, Didier lived all over the world before settling near Perigueux.
