This lovely farmhouse is hidden away in the hills behind the small hamlet of Chancelade, about ten minutes from Brantôme. Its stunning views can be seen from the outdoor dining area, as well as the pool and poolhouse adjacent to the property. There is a large farmhouse kitchen, and two spacious sitting areas, one of which has a huge stone fireplace, while the large classic dining room overlooks the garden. The house is nicely furnished with antiques, and has plenty of space to accommodate up to eleven people.
Le Désir is ideal for a large group or two families, as it has two staircases leading up to the bedrooms, two doubles and a twin on one side, and a double and twin on the other. Each set of bedrooms has its own bathroom and toilet, and are large and nicely furnished. Closest town: Brantôme 6km Closest airports: Angoulême 1h16m Limoges 1h26m.
